I'm starting a new book..

I seldom read Afrikaans, but I have only heard good stuff about Deon Meyer's books, so I'm giving it a try.

Beskrywing

Klink interressant!

Going nutssss

This weekend I was introduced to Pecan harvesting. My gran has a Pecan Nut tree in her garden. Little did we know we MUST NOT pick them, we should shake the tree and collect the nuts from the ground!
So the verdict was a big bowl FULL OF GREEN and YUKKY nuts...haha, not so clever

See here the whole process of mass pecan harvesting!

Proudly South African!!

We used to lick of the white animal, then eat of the biscuit sides and try to eat of the back of the biscuit. The coloured icing was the best and last part we ate. it was so much fun!!! Sticky fingers, sticky face, haha!!

Even thought the Zoo Cookies aren't the same as it were 20 years ago( but then, what is?), it still tastes the same!!!
